"Omar" goes to Mexico awarded by CutOut Fest '09!

In it's first edition, the short film animation festival CutOut Fest - Mexico 2009, which has Catalunya community as special guest this year, has awarded with the International Jury Prize to "Omar",3D animation piece directed by Karina Letelier and Triana Raya* from MagoProduction.

As part of the prize, "Omar" will cross the Atlantic to Queretaro - Mexico on November 12, by the hand of one of its creators, to participate in the introduction, screening and discussion about the short film winner at the festival.

A great news Mago will celebrate drinking tequila and dancing rancheras as the best start of this long weekend. Chido!

About "Omar"

Synopsis:

Omar waits in a cafeteria, every day since Manuel is gone. He holds time still in his memory, abstracting himself from the present... His compass keeps leading him to the past.
