THE SECRETS OF DRAGON CITY

We present Dragon City, venue of the action of  The Flying Squirrels happens. It is the biggest stage of all series and is crossed by a meandering river which refers to the shape of a dragon.

Dragon City is a chaotic city full of canals, alleyways and narrow streets. The city operates vertically, therefore it has several levels. The zero level, sort of speaking, is where daily life unfolds, tied to more realistic features. Just as a Roman city, Dragon City is so ancient that under the zero level there are many other levels, where ruins and subterranian worlds are also part of life coexisting in a fantastic contest. There is not a real world and a fantasy world. Both are integrated and coexist. The elements of fantasy and realistic elements are acting, forming the diegesis of the story.

THE MEDINA´S PROJECT

On monday the Medina´s project begins. It is an arquelogical multimedia project, about the Phoenician and Nabateas inscriptions, one of the firts writings in history. The Project is financed by ENPI CBCMED. We are so exciting about it.

THE HIDDEN ART OF THE FLYING SQUIRRELS

Beyond the world of the main characters, there are inanimate objects, creatures that at first seem high but that add substance to the scene. The hidden art is exquisite in Flying Squirrels, that is why, we want to invite you to stroll through the world of the unseen. Maps, collector's items, items specific to a fantastic museum are integrated into the background of the series, unexplored canvas where you can lose and enjoy...

THE WEBSITE OF THE NIGHTINGALE AND THE NIGHT

Now, you can visit the website of the project, The Nightingale and the Night. Chavela Vargas sings to Lorca, a virtual space dedicated to Chavela and Lorca connection. Week after week, we will published the texts of Lorca that Chavela has selected in the tribute/CD "Luna Grande". She adds music, rythm and feeling to poems. We invite you to check the first two songs: "Arbolé, Arbolé" y "Yo soy la madre de Doña Rosita", where you will know who are the musicians, what are the stories that shape the verses and all that surronds the world of song.

THE DR.W IN SANT JORDI

April 23th is a very special day. Next monday we will celebrate the International Book Day and conmemorate the death of Sant Jordi, the patron saint of Catalonia. The tradition converges books and roses, and this is why, Dr.W´s book, "The mysterious case of the lost sense" (ed. Blume) visit Parets del Vallès, a pretty village 23 kilometers from Barcelona. For the occasion, we will have the presence of Maria Serra Ciurana and Ricard Pujol Serra, the official voice of Woody Bonepecker in the series. In addition, we will sell books at reduced prices and projecting some of the chapters on the big screen.

"EL RUISEÑOR Y LA NOCHE"

Next April 15th , Chavela Vargas will present her book/CD "La Luna Grande" (Discos Corason) in the Main Hall of the Palacio de Bellas Artes (Mexico).  A tribute to the poet Federico García Lorca.  


El Ruiseñor y la Noche. ChavelaVargas canta a Lorca is the only documentary that records the rehearsals, the recording and the live presentations of the album. In addition to the unmistakable voice of Chavela, 2D animation will have an important place. The singer and the poet,together, make an immortal universe.
